  • Paste links to lives, events, or YouTube embeds. Only native LinkedIn video ships a public file.

How do I download a video from a LinkedIn post?
Copy the post link from LinkedIn (the three-dot menu on any post has "Copy link to post"), paste it in the box above, and click Find the video. Does it work on private posts or posts behind a login?
No, and that is deliberate. The tool reads the same public page LinkedIn serves to anyone who is logged out. If a post is visible only to a closed audience or sits behind the sign-in wall, the tool tells you so instead of asking for your credentials or working around the wall.
What quality is the downloaded video?
The highest quality the post itself carries. The file comes straight from LinkedIn’s own video CDN, byte for byte, so there is no re-encoding, no compression on top, and no watermark added.
Can I download my own LinkedIn videos?
Yes, and it is one of the most common uses. LinkedIn has no native download button, so if the original file is gone, pasting the link of your own post here is the fastest way to get your video back.
Is it legal to download LinkedIn videos?
The tool only reads what LinkedIn publishes openly, but the video itself belongs to whoever made it. Downloading your own content, or content you have permission to reuse, is fine. Do you store the videos or the links I paste?
No. The link you paste is used once to look up the post’s public data, and the video travels from LinkedIn’s CDN directly to your device without passing through our servers. There is nothing for us to keep.
Why does it say "no video" on a post that clearly has one?
A few post types embed media that is not a native video: YouTube links, documents, and reshared posts where the video lives on the original. For reshares, paste the link of the original post instead. Live events and some newsletter embeds do not expose a public video file at all.
